Hyfor™, a special blend of Polymerized Aluminium Coagulant is much more effective for fluoride removal as compare to conventional chemical such as Lime, Calcium or Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC). Typically using conventional chemical for fluoride removal can achieved less than 10ppm, but with Hyfor­™ it can achieved less 2ppm.

With Hyfor™, pH for reaction is control between 6 to 7, thus required less Caustic for pH adjustment and therefore reduce the cost of treatment. Furthermore, less sludge is produce with Hyfor™ treatment.

Client with existing treatment system using conventional chemical with treated Fluoride less than 10-20ppm, can further use Hyfor as a secondary treatment or polishing of final effluent to meet less than 2-5ppm. 

 

Client who opt for secondary treatment using Hyfor, Watterson will provide Fluoride removal secondary/polishing treatment plant on loan basis with terms and conditions. This could help client reduce the CAPEX for upgrading of existing plant.
