6 ton/day OKADA Continuous Sludge Dryer (Chemical Plant)
An internationally renowned company based in Malaysia, whose core business is the production of raw chemical materials for the food, toiletries, resin, and other industries, approached us to replace its existing 20-year-old batch-type steam dryer system.
The current steam dryer has become increasingly labour-intensive, requiring significant manual effort for loading and unloading sludge during each drying cycle. In addition, the system has shown signs of reduced drying efficiency, resulting in longer drying times and lower overall productivity.

Furthermore, the Environmental Authority has advised the client to replace the existing steam dryer, as it is no longer environmentally friendly. The current process generates steam containing dust particles that must be treated through a scrubber system before discharge. If not properly managed, the emissions can cause air pollution and unpleasant odours, posing environmental compliance challenges.
