Reverse Osmosis (RO) system is a method of water purification by crossflow filtration using permeable membrane.  It is capable of removing dissolved ions, salts, pyrogens and submicron colloidal matter up to 99% from water.  Feedwater is delivered under pressure through the membranes’s  permeators where water permeates through the minute pores of the membrane and is delivered as purified product water.  Impurities in the water are concentrated in the reject stream and flushed to drain.
